Seasonal flu and H1N1  

Children under age 2

  • With any fever, call the clinic.

Children over age 2

  • With a fever of more than 102° and a cough, make an appointment to bring your child to the clinic.
  • With a fever of less than 102°, manage his fever with plenty of fluids and provide Tylenol. See When should I worry about a fever?
  • If the child doesn't show improvement in 2–3 days, make an appointment to bring your child to the clinic.
 

Update 1/23/10 - FCTMC does not have any of the H1N1 vaccine and will not be getting any H1N1 vaccine in the future.  Please see community resources listed below.

Several of the area pharmacies now have the H1N1 vaccine available, please check directly with your pharmacy for more information.

Effective October 21, 2009, a new phone-based service became available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to answer questions regarding flu symptoms. Call the Minnesota Flu Line at (866) 259-4655 for more information. Those with limited English skills will be connected to an interpreter.
